Alex and Samantha met almost 20 years ago in their hometown of Duxbury, Massachusetts by happenstance on a broken-down school bus after a soccer game. Years later, they fell in love during their time at Boston College. Alex wished Sam a Happy Birthday, as he always, unwaveringly has, just as she found out that she would be transferring in! They went to get ice cream for the start of the school year, and the rest is history, with a cherry on top.

From the beginning, Alex and Sam could talk forever about everything and nothing from their favorite beverage to their most outlandish dreams. It was something special. The love and support they found in each other helped them become the people they are today. Over the past ten years together they have enjoyed breathtaking adventures and experienced beautiful memories and milestones.

They got engaged on June 19, 2024 at the beach in Saquish, Massachusetts where Alex's parents, and grandparents before them, maintain a secluded waterfront retreat. They rang in the engagement celebration by the sea with so many loved ones (and tacos) at Sam's beloved family home on Duxbury Beach.

They cannot wait to celebrate this next step in their life together with all of you in Martha's Vineyard!
